Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of goodmassage, including the website at goodmassage.so and any related pages and features (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY] (“goodmassage”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What goodmassage is (and is not)

goodmassage is a curated, informational directory of massage studios. It helps you discover studios and hand off to them directly. It is not a booking service, a marketplace, a payment processor, or an agent, broker, or representative of any studio. We do not sell, provide, schedule, or guarantee any massage or other service, and we take no commission on anything.

Any contact, appointment, transaction, or interaction you have with a studio is solely between you and that studio. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for it.

2. “Screened” does not mean endorsed or guaranteed

A “Screened” label means only that, at the time of the check, a studio passed a set of automated checks against public signals (such as category, public reviews, and keyword filters). Screening is automated, periodic, and inherently limited. It is not an endorsement, certification, accreditation, background check, or a warranty of a studio’s quality, safety, hygiene, legality, licensing, insurance, staff qualifications, or conduct.

You are responsible for your own judgment and diligence before and during any visit. We do not guarantee any outcome and are not liable for the acts or omissions of any studio.

3. No professional, medical, or health advice

Content on the Service is for general information only and is not medical, health, or professional advice. Massage is not a substitute for medical care. Consult a qualified professional about any health condition. You use the information at your own risk.

4. Listing information and accuracy

Studio listings are compiled and enriched from third-party and public sources, including OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps data and studios’ own publicly available websites, and are then processed automatically. Listing details (including names, addresses, hours, prices, photos, modalities, and contact details) may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or wrong. Prices in particular change often and are indicative only. Confirm directly with the studio.

All listing information is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Map and place data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing.

5. Contacting studios (handoff only)

Where we show a phone number, messaging link, or booking link, selecting it hands you off to the studio’s own channel (for example by telephone, WhatsApp, or the studio’s own booking site). We may record that a handoff occurred so the studio knows the referral came from goodmassage. We do not process, hold, or guarantee any booking or payment.

6. Accounts

Browsing does not require an account. Certain actions (such as saving favourites, verifying a visit, writing a review, or claiming a perk) require you to sign in with a magic link or a supported third-party sign-in. You must provide accurate information, keep your access secure, be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (and at least the age of majority where required), and be responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

7. Reviews and other user content

Reviews are gated: you may review a studio only after a verified visit and within the review window we specify, and these gates are enforced by us. When you submit a review or other content (“User Content”) you represent that it is truthful, based on your own genuine experience, and does not infringe anyone’s rights or any law.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant goodmassage a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute it in connection with operating and promoting the Service. This licence survives for content that remains published or cached after your account is closed.

We moderate only on defined legal grounds (for example accusations of crime, personal attacks, or unlawful discrimination). Negative but lawful feedback is never removed for being negative. A studio may post at most one reply per review, which is permanent once posted. We may, but are not obliged to, review, remove, or refuse any content, and we are not responsible for User Content.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully, or to harass, defame, or harm anyone;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract data, or circumvent rate limits or security;
• submit false, misleading, or fraudulent content, reviews, visits, or claims;
• copy, resell, or create a competing database or service from the Service;
• reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, and branding, is owned by goodmassage or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. Third-party data and marks remain the property of their owners and are used under their respective licences (for example, OpenStreetMap data under ODbL).

10. Studios: claims, corrections, and delisting

If you operate a studio, you may claim your listing to manage limited details, add a perk, and reply to reviews. Claiming never affects screening, ranking, or the public listing before it is approved. To request correction or removal of a listing, or to raise a rights or takedown concern, contact legal@goodmassage.so. We handle removals case by case and act on valid requests within a reasonable time; delisting is not automated.

11. Third-party services and links

The Service links to and relies on third parties (including studios’ sites, mapping and geocoding providers, sign-in providers, and hosting). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, availability, or practices. Your use of a third party is governed by that party’s own terms.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any listing or information is accurate or current.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, goodmassage and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or for any injury, loss, or dispute arising out of or relating to a studio, a visit, or any interaction with a studio. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred euros (€100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection law. Where such law applies, the exclusions above apply only to the extent permitted.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless goodmassage and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms.

16. Changes

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes take effect when we post the updated Terms with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW COUNTRY], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the competent courts of [GOVERNING LAW COUNTRY] have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law (including consumer law) gives you the right to bring proceedings, or requires proceedings to be brought, elsewhere.

18. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. Questions: legal@goodmassage.so.
